Pumpkins, apple bobbing and trick or treat!

As we approach All Hallows’ Eve, the shops are filled with everything Halloween from pumpkins, to costumes, spiders, bats, witches’ hats and all manner of orange and black food. It’s time to plan your Halloween party or visit the best spooky events and scary attractions.

We have two great paper lanterns to help spice up your party venue. They are both round, 12 inches in diameter with regular wire ribbing. The Witches lantern has a white background with black witchy silhouettes and yellow stars and moons. The cerise Bat lantern is decorated with black bats with scary yellow eyes.

All the preparations for any party are part of the fun. Creating a ghostly party room with some disturbing decorations and dim lighting make for an unnerving atmosphere which your guests will no doubt relish.

Children and adults of all ages enjoy the Halloween games – I can remember getting soaking wet apple bobbing. I think my brother was responsible for that! There was also one with doughnuts hanging from strings which you had to eat with your hands behind your back. I believe there was an awful lot of cheating!
